DEXTER - Lloyd Jacob Urick, 49, died May 19, 2004, at his home.

Born April 19, 1955, in Paw Paw, Mich., son of Mary Urick Barber of Hartford, Mich., and the late Lloyd Solomon Urick, he lived in Michigan before moving to Dexter nine years ago. He was a welder and veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.

On April 8, 1999, at Bloomfield, he married Melissa Diane Futch Moore who survives of the home.

Survivors in addition to his wife and mother include: two daughters, Ashley Urick and Tina Urick of Michigan; and three sisters, Vicky Davis and Diane Cowgill of Hartford and Nancy Urick of Watersmeet, Mich.

Visitation begins at 9 a.m. Friday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

Graveside services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at the Missouri Veterans Home in Bloomfield, where military rites will be conducted by the Stoddard County Veterans Honor Team.
