GRANDBURY, Texas -- Kitty Ann Perry, 72, died suddenly Oct. 14, 2007, in Roswell, N.M.
Born Catherine Alberson on Oct. 29, 1934, in Sikeston, Mo., she consdidered Sikeston home, although she lived away most of her life. She loved and was loved by many.
Survivors include: her husband of 28 years, Stan Perry of Grandbury; one goddaughter, Sharon Walker of Cleveland, Tenn.; lifelong friends Shirley Allen of East Prairie, Mo., Kathryn Barborek of Sikeston, Wanda Culp of Memphis, Tenn., Bonnie Dyer of Sikeston and Pat Parks of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; sisters-in-law Shirley Coleman and Wanda Dirickson, both of Sikeston, Carolyn Bourcier of Flint, Mich., Linda Dover of Manchaca, Sharlotte Ford of Murray, Ky.; and an aunt, Marilyn Alberson of Sikeston.
She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Laura Dawne.
A memorial dinner was held in her honor on Oct. 27 in Mineral Wells.
In accordance with her wishes, she was cremated. Her remains will be scattered in the ocean at Daytona Beach, Fla., where she will join her daughter.
