Allen Lane

PORTAGEVILLE -- Allen Lynn Lane, 57, died March 24, 2008, at the J-Y community north of Portageville.

Born April 3, 1950, at Gideon, to the late Herbert and Eva Marie Lewis Lane, he had worked as a truck driver for many years.

Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Lana Marie and Eddie Gordon of Poplar Bluff; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Mary "Cookie" and Russell Hoggard of Portageville and Lana Elizabeth Lane of Green Valley, Ariz.; and four grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son, John Allen Lane; and two brothers, James Lane and Herbert "Sonny" Lane.

Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. today at the DeLisle Funeral Chapel in Portageville with Dewight Bryant officiating.

Burial will follow in the Portageville Cemetery.
