SIKESTON -- Earl Clinton Baugher, 94, died Nov. 11, 2007, at the Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau.
Born Dec. 8, 1912, in Crowder, to the late Jefferson and Lillie Beavers Baugher, he was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served during World War II. He was a member of the Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church and owner and operator of several local businesses.
In 1952, in Sikeston, he married Mayrean Hill who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, Rodney Baugher of Sikeston; one stepson, Stan Nolan of Sikeston; two daughters, Shirely Cange of Cairo, Ill., and Monica Coleman of Columbus, Ohio; one stepdaughter, Sherry St. Mary of Columbus; two half-brothers, Joe Ruhl of Sikeston and Henry Ruhl of Springfield; and two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, George Baugher, one brother and two sisters.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Mike Quillman will officiate.
Burial with full military rites conducted by the Missouri Military Funeral Honor Guard will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
