Clifford Johnson

CHARLESTON - Clifford E. Johnson, 28, died May 13, 2004, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Born Jan. 6, 1976, in Charleston, son of the late Luther and Ethel Hines Murray Sr., he was a 1994 graduate of Charleston High School.

Survivors include: one daughter, Demitra Asberry of Charleston; two sons, Clifford Johnson Jr. and Raylandus Wiley of Charleston; six brothers, J.B. Standback, Luther Hines Jr., and James Murray of Sikeston and Danny Hines, Richard Johnson and Timothy Murray of Charleston; five sisters, Mary McCain of Sikeston and Carolyn Hines, Priscilla Johnson, Claudette Hines and Margaret Scott of Charleston; and a special friend, Jackie Thomas of Charleston.

Visitation is from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Williams Funeral Home in Charleston.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Bowden Civic Center in Charleston with the Rev. Sylvester Davis officiating.

Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
