BLOOMFIELD -- Reba Hampton, 93, died Oct. 19, 2007, at the Cypress Point Skilled Nursing Center at Dexter.
Born July 24, 1914, in Tennessee, daughter of the late Alonzo and Lessie Bell Crabtree Cutler, she was a former seamstress with Elder Manufacturing and was a member of the Broadwater Church of The Brethren at Frisco.
On Dec. 10, 1931, at Piggott, Ark., she married Chalmer Hampton who preceded her in death on Nov. 4, 1997.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Morris Hampton; four brothers, Delbert Cutler, Glen Cutler, Alfred Cutler and Calvin Cutler; and three sisters, Verda May Ellison, Virginia Belcher and Mary Sue Cutler.
Survivors include: one daughter-in-law, Gloria Hampton of Dexter; one brother, Hassel Cutler of Arnold; one sister, Anna Lou Hutchcraft of Poplar Bluff; and two grandsons, one step-grandson and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 11:30 p.m. until services at 1:30 p.m. today at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. Harold Gass will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Malden Memorial Park Cemetery.
