CHARLESTON - Justin Lewis Fiscus, 28, died Sept. 16, 2007, in Carbondale, Ill.
Born June 2, 1979, in Charleston, to James Fiscus of Bertrand and Tracy Ashley Pendergrass of Friedheim, he was a 1997 graduate of Charleston High School and attended Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. He worked as an independent car salesman and a vendor at Panic shows. He was a member of the Charleston First Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, survivors include: his stepfather, Gene Pendergrass of Friedheim; paternal grandmother, Pat Stallings of Bertrand; paternal grandfather, Stanley Fiscus of the state of Kentucky; and a special friend, Laura Sparkman of Hartselle, Ala.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James and Opal Williams Ashley and Herbert Stallings.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Winston Williford of Freedom Road Ministries in Jackson will officiate. Lanie Black will serve as eulogist.
Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Mike Earnheart, Rouke Ohmes, Nate Davis, Mike Patrick, George Katsantonis and Tom Katsantonis.
