SIKESTON -- Lauren Patricia Mosley and Christopher Marc Snider were united in marriage during a 2 p.m. ceremony April 14, 2007, at First United Methodist Church in Sikeston. The Rev. Geoff Posegate and Dr. Jim Davis officiated.

Parents of the bride are Peggy Lee Matthews of Sikeston and Steve and Viney Mosley of Cape Girardeau. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward C. Matthews Jr. of Sikeston and the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward P. Mosley of Cape Girardeau.

The bridegroom is the son of Donna and Mick Hughes of St. Louis and Sherry and Marc Snider of Dexter. His grandparents are Mrs. Mary Nell Riley of Murray, Ky., Chester Medler and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hughes of Dexter and the late Edgar Shirley and Mary Ellen Medler.

Organist Judy Nickell of Sikeston provided music for the occasion.

Matron of honor was Rita Henson of Cape Girardeau and bridesmaids were Dr. Kristin Ancell of Nashville, Tenn., Dr. Amy Beck of San Antonio, and Meghan Bogard of St. Louis.

Flower girl was Victoria Collom, niece of the bride and daughter of Ellen and Glenn Collom.

Timothy Clegg of Tulsa, Okla., served as best man. Groomsmen were Nicholas Atherton, Jason Fraysher and Christopher Wohlberg of St. Louis.

Grant Matthews of Sikeston, brother of the bride, served as an usher. A reception followed at 3 p.m. at Joseph's Restaurant.

A rehearsal dinner hosted by the bridegroom's parents was April 13 at Jeremiah's Restaurant in Sikeston.

A bridal shower hosted by Rita Henson and Mrs. Lamia Tellow, Dr. Kristin Ancell, Mrs. Gale Ancell, Amy Smith and Mrs. Carol Smith was held in Cape Girardeau. A bridal shower in St. Louis was hosted by Kathleen Bauer, Suzanne Leek, Marcia Coulter, Joan Dobkin and Ellen Lindsay. A bridesmaids' luncheon honoring the bride was hosted by Kathy Hux, Ann Hux and Tara Hux in Sikeston.

The new Mrs. Snider earned a Bachelor of Arts in speech communication from Drury University in Springfield and a Master of Science in communication sciences and disorders from Fontbonne University in St. Louis. She is employed as a speech language pathologist at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Snider attended Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Okla. He is employed as a professional placement consultant at Manpower in Sikeston. Following a wedding trip to Oahu and Maui, Hawaii, the couple are making their home in Cape Girardeau.
