WEST PADUCAH, Ky. -- Holly Kay Hale and Christopher Lee Ferrell were united in marriage during a 6 p.m. ceremony May 12, 2007, at Silver Shells Beach in Destin, Fla. The Rev. Dean DeMarra performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Hale of Sikeston, Mo. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Ferrell of Paducah.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a Galina beach gown in ivory, featuring an empire waste. The spaghetti straps and waist were adorned in crystals. The back of the dress featured chiffon draped from the waist to construct the train. The bride wore her mother's 35-year-old cathedral wedding veil.
Maid of honor was Tara Hale of Sikeston. Jonathan Ferrell of Bumpus Mills, Tenn., served as best man.
Crystal Cheney, violinist, provided the music for the occasion.
A reception for the couple was held in the Founders Room at Ruths Chris Steakhouse.
Following a honeymoon to Montego Bay, Jamaica, the new Mr. and Mrs. Ferrell are making their home in West Paducah.
