BERTRAND --Lucille Taylor, 92, died Dec. 27, 2007, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born June 2, 1915, in New Madrid, daughter of the late Sam and Ethel Wilson Martin, she was a homemaker and member of the United Pentecostal Church in Sikeston.
On Jan. 9, 1932, she married Yewell Taylor, who preceded her in death on May 6, 1994.
Survivors include: four sons and daughters-in-law, Yewell Junior and Shirley Taylor of Bertrand, Glen and Brenda Taylor, Larry and Florence Taylor and Rick and Barb Taylor, all of Benton; one daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and David Allred of Sikeston; one sister, Ellen Beardsley of St. Peters; and 23 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston.
Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at United Pentecostal Church in Sikeston with the Revs. Jeff Reeves of Montgomery, Ala., and J.W. Hardin of Greentown, Ind., officiating.
Burial will follow in the Forrest Hills Cemetery.
