MALDEN -- Thelma Louise Copeland, 62, died Feb. 10, 2008, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born March 8, 1945, in Dexter, to the late Orion and Nora Mae Carter Jackson, she was on the Pentecostal belief.

On Feb. 4, 1962, in McGee, she married J.L. Copeland, who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Billy Risner of Malden; three sons and daughters-in-law, Terry and Sheila Copeland of Dexter, Jerry and Denise Copeland of Risco and Mark and Julie Copeland of Malden; four sisters, Nora "Bobbie" Bennett of Dexter, Helen Russell of Morehouse, June Dickherber of St. Charles and Barbara Stump of Lurton, Ark.; two brothers, Harold "Doc" Jackson of Bernie and Raymond Jackson of Sikeston; and 16 grandchildren and one great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Elsie Marie Jackson; and three brothers, Larry Jackson, Dallas Eugene Jackson and Marion Leroy Jackson.

Visitation will be at 5 p.m. today at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Jerry Chaney officiating.

Burial will follow in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter.
