VICKSBURG, Miss. - Roy Leon Davis, 72, died Sept. 25, 2007, at Promise Hospital in Vicksburg.
Born June 30, 1935, in Osceola, Ark., to the late Dick and Mary Buell Davis, he was a brick mason and owned and operated a lawn care service for many years.
Survivors include: three sons, Rick Davis of Birmingham, Ala., Tom Davis of Delta, La., and John Davis of Warrior, Ala.; four sisters, Peggy Lape of Chaffee, Mo., Lavern Warren of Kansas City, Kan., Jane Swain of Chaffee, Mo., and Janice Trankler of Oran, Mo.; two brothers, Bill Davis of Valrico, Fla., and Glen Davis of Oran; and seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
One son, one brother and two sisters preceded him in death.
Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Saturday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens near Morley. The Rev. Ed. Carter will officiate.
