PUXICO - Joan M. Lepper, 72, formerly of St. Louis and Illinois, died Feb. 7, 2005, at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Born May 11, 1932, in East St. Louis, Ill., daughter of the late Ed and Mabel Merritt Deatherage, she lived in Puxico for the past 33 years and attended the Church of God in Poplar Bluff.
In May 1948, in East St. Louis, she married Olsie D. Lepper who preceded her in death in July 1980.
Survivors include: three daughters, Geraldine Storz of Dexter, Vickie Moore of Puxico and Shellie Tannehill of Baton Rouge, La.; two sisters, Doris McIntosh of Millstadt, Ill., and Janet Neider of Mascoutah, Ill.; two brothers, Danny Deatherage of Florida and Jimmy Deatherage of California; and six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
One grandson preceded her in death.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. Thursday until service time at 1 p.m. at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico. The Rev. Kent Miller of Poplar Bluff and the Rev. Wiley McGhee of Puxico will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Puxico Cemetery.
