TWIN FALLS, Idaho -- John David Vaught, 44, formerly of Sikeston, Mo., died April 5, 2005, at the Latter Day Saints Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born June 9, 1960, in Sikeston, son of Paul and Veda James Vaught of Bertrand, Mo., he was a technical operations manager for Cable One Television. A member of West Lake Christian Church in Laurie, Mo., he had attended the First Christian Church in Sikeston.
On March 24, 1984, in Dallas, he married Kathy Crosby who survives of the home in Twin Falls.
Other survivors include: one son, Gabriel Vaught of the home; two daughters, Harmony Cranford of St. Louis and Stacey Stark of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; four brothers, Gary Vaught of Scott City, Mo., and Mike Vaught, Neal Vaught and Richard Vaught of Sikeston; and one grandson, Myles Stark of Poplar Bluff.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Ed Pangburn, former pastor of First Christian Church in Sikeston, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sikeston.
Pallbearers will be: Randy Grant, Tim Brown, Jesse Hammock, Ed Fox, Mike Ritter and Mike Freed.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Ryan Beaird and Dakota Trevino.
