WYATT - Delores Barnhill Summers, 88, died at 5 a.m. April 8, 2005, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born April 16, 1916, near Columbus, Ky., to the late Lonnie Vinson and Maggie Laster Vinson Green, she had lived her entire life in Wyatt where she was a member of the Wyatt United Methodist Church.

Her first husband, James L. Barnhill, preceded her in death in 1951. She later married J.L. Summers, who preceded her in death in 1998.

Surviving are: one son and daughter-in-law, James L. and Aloyce M. Barnhill of Poplar Bluff; a foster son, Allen Wayne Brock of Sacramento, Calif.; one brother, Roy Green of Wyatt; one grandson, James Aaron Barnhill of Grandin; one stepgranddaughter, Mary Jo Saulter of DeSoto; and eight great-

grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

One grandson, three brothers and four sisters preceded her in death.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Harold Norton, director of senior adult ministries at the First United Methodist Church in Sikeston, and the Rev. Chris Wise, pastor of the United Methodist Church in Wyatt, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be her nephews, Steve Keen, Larry Brock, Todd Green, Thomas Vinson, Gary Dale Vinson, Robert Green and David Green.
