Darren Howard

COVINGTON, Ga. -- Darren Scott Howard, 41, died April 5, 2005, at the New Medical Center in Covington.

Born June 17, 1963, at Dexter, Mo., son of Judy Harmon Denney of Conyers and the late Billy Howard, he was of the Methodist belief. A veteran of the United States Army, he was a handyman.

On May 25, 2001, he married Nichole Allen who survives of the home in Covington.

Other survivors include: two stepdaughters, Stephanie Marie Dyer and Natalie Taylor Dyer of Covington; and one sister, Mary Ann Stovall of Conyers.

One brother, Anthony Keith Howard; his maternal grandparents, Guy and Opal Harmon, and one niece also preceded him in death.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. Sunday at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter until time for graveside services at 2 p.m. at the Dexter Cemetery. The Rev. John Adams will officiate.
