Sikeston Standard Democrat: Obituaries: Betty Towe (02/23/05)

MOREHOUSE - Betty J. Towe, 60, died Feb. 21, 2005, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born Oct. 27, 1944, in Pop City, daughter of the late Alvie and Gladys Frazier Boze, she was a member of Cline's Island General Baptist Church.

On Dec. 1, 1960, she married Winford R. Towe who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son, Charles Towe of Lonoke, Ark.; one daughter, Sherry Riley of Sikeston; three brothers, Orval Boze of Vanduser, Harley Boze of Aquilla and Clarence Boze of Bell City; one sister, Darella Stark of Dewey, Okla.; and 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Alvin Towe, and one brother, James Boze.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. Ronnie Ledbetter, pastor of Cline's Island General Baptist Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
