SIKESTON - Joseph Campbell, 55, died Feb. 10, 2005, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
Born Aug. 2, 1949, in Scooba, Miss., son of the late Donner and Sadie Campbell, he attended Sikeston Public Schools. He had been employed by the Bell and Howell Company in St. Charles, Ill., and Houghton Mifflin Company in Geneva, Ill.
In June 1974, he married Tina Rayford who survives of Aurora, Ill.
Other survivors include: two sons, Joseph Campbell Jr. of East Chicago, Ind., and Joseph Jermaine Campbell of Aurora; two daughters, Terri Campbell of Racine, Wis., and Dee Dee Campbell of East Chicago; one brother, Spencer Campbell of Batavia, Ill.; one sister, Carrie Jenkins of Batavia; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by six brothers, Willie Campbell, Simon Campbell, Robert Campbell, Walter Campbell, Jacob Campbell and James Campbell; and three sisters, Veria Houston, Ruth Chapman and Cora Moffett.
Visitation is from 1 p.m. Saturday until service time at 2 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston. The Rev. Alex Sims, pastor of the New Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church at Haywood City, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Haywood City Cemetery.
