HOWARDVILLE -- Coy Lee Jackson, 73, died June 27, 2005, at his home in Howardville.

Born Jan. 13, 1932, in McNeil, Ark., son of the late Roosevelt and Betty Handy Jackson, he was an instructor at the Shelby Williams Manufacturer Co. in North Brooks, Ill. He moved to Missouri in 1978 and was a member of the Baptist Temple in North Brooks.

On Jan. 19, 1960, he married Earnestine Withers who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two sons, Coyvel "C.J." Jackson of San Diego, Calif., and Lee Boyd Marsh Jackson of Bloomington, Ill.; two daughters, Latonya Jeffries of Milwaukee, Wis., and Anjeanett Williams of Columbia, S.C.; three brothers, Leroy Jackson of Howardville, Franklin Jackson of the state of Oregon and John Burton of Kansas City, Kan.; three sisters, Gertie Rich of Kansas City, Mo., Catherine Johnson of Dallas, Texas, and Betty R. Poole of Dumas, Ark.; and 20 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, Keith Jackson; one brother, Troy Jackson; and two sisters, Queen Esther Davis and Elisea Hardin.

Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Williams Funeral Home in Howardville.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Friendship Church of God in Christ in Howardville with the Rev. Marvel Cranford officiating.

Burial will follow in the Mason Cemetery at Point Pleasant.
