SIKESTON -- The Bootheel Bombers dropped two in a row to fall two games below .500 in the Kitty League.
On Tuesday, the Bombers (9-11) were drubbed by Union City 18-5. Zane Grosback went 3-for-4 with six RBIs to lead the Union City offense.
On Wednesday, last-place Fulton (3-14) squeaked by the Bombers 5-4 in 10 innings. Sean O'Connors' home run was the difference for the Railroaders, who have come alive with two straight wins. They defeated league-leading Farmington 5-1 on Tuesday.
