SIKESTON -- Whitney Beth Wright and Jason Scott Noland were united in marriage during a 3 p.m. ceremony June 4, 2005, at the First Baptist Church in Sikeston. The Rev. Rick Ramsey performed the ceremony. Vocalists were Rachel Riggins and Harold Myrick with Dana Lynch as the musician.
The bride is the daughter of Stephen and Ava Huffstutler and Larry and Teresa Wright, all of Sikeston. Parents of the bridegroom are Gerald and Connie Noland of New London.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Matron of honor was Heather Self of Cape Girardeau, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Lindsay Leetch of Jonesboro, Ark., friend of the bride; Emily Wright of Sikeston, sister-in-law of the bride; Kristin Voss of St. Louis, friend of the bride; Carrie Noland of New London, sister-in-law of the bridegroom; and Julie Beussink of Marble Hill, sister of the bridegroom.
Flower girl was Audrey Noland, daughter of Jerad and Carrie Noland of New London and niece of the bridegroom.
Jerad Noland of New London, brother of the bridegroom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Casey Sims, Joe Buckman and Wes Creech, all of Hannibal, friends of the bridegroom; Stuart Beussink of Marble Hill, brother-in-law of the bridegroom; and Matt Wright of Sikeston, brother of the bride.
Serving as ringbearer was Landon Barker, son of Shawn and Melanie Alberson of Jackson and nephew of the bride.
Megan Hefner and Channing Hefner, both of Columbia, S.C., cousins of the bride, were program attendants.
Receptions were held at First Baptist Church and Sikeston Elks Lodge.
Following a honeymoon in Destin, Fla., the new Mr. and Mrs. Noland are making their home in Hannibal, where they both are employed at Hannibal Public Schools as math teachers.
