SIKESTON - The Steel Place, a manufacturer of steel roofing and siding, announced the official location of its Sikeston plant on Highway 60 East Friday afternoon.
SIKESTON - Twenty-one students from the Sikeston Senior High School were selected to represent Sikeston Public Schools at the Southwest Missouri Regional Science Fair March 28-30 in Cape Girardeau. Selected members were: Jesse Pasley, Megan Hildebrand, Lauren Mosley, Kristen Deane, Trina Swogger, Jessica Heronimus, Kelly Moss, Sherry Carter, Cassandra Doherty, Jenny Stark, Joey Moyers, Henley Montgomery, Brad Kiesling, Keenan Carroway, Matt Kriete, Chrissy Carr, Amy Smith, Stephanie Hampton, Stephen Stricker, Kristin Ancell and Brandon Stricker.
MOREHOUSE - Morehouse residents will have an opportunity to fill several positions in next Tuesday's citywide election. Something unique is planned for Saturday in the City Park. Being called "Candidates' Day," those running for the various offices have agreed to provide a picnic-style lunch along with music and entertainment beginning at noon and ending around 3 p.m.
