PERKINS - Carl "Punkin" Schott, 55, died Aug. 5, 2005, at his home.
Born April 24, 1950, in Cape Girardeau, son of the late Leo and Faye McDaniel Schott, he was a farmer and owner of Schott Trucking Co. in Advance. A 1968 graduate of Oran High School, he was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army 25th Infantry in Vietnam.
On July 11, 1970, he married Mary James, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, Chad Schott of Perkins; one daughter, Stacy Enderle of Oran; two brothers, Leo Schott of Oran and Larry Schott of Perkins; four sisters, Janet Morris of Scott City, Charlotte Falk of Rockview, Elizabeth Bryeans of Perkins and Debra Stotz of Jackson, Tenn.; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance, with scripture reading at 7 p.m. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran, with the Rev. John Harth officiating.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Advance.
