She was born near Wellsville, Mo., on June 25, 1909, to Granville and Russie Elgin Bishop. She moved with her family to St. Louis in 1925 and met Oren McMackins, whom she married in 1932.
In 1934 she and Oren moved to a farm near Caruthersville, Mo., before moving again in 1944 to a farm near Oran, Mo., where she lived until she relocated to Prescott in 1987.
Trudell is survived by two daughters, Loeta Bahn and Carol Harris; and sons-
in-law, Dr. Charles Bahn and Bob Harris. She is also survived by grandchildren, Ronald Martin and Michelle Harris Hobbs; and four great-

She was preceded in death by her husband, Oren, Nov. 7, 1985; sons Wallace Martin in 1997, Dudley McMackins in 1993; and a grandson, Dennis Martin in 1998.
Trudell McMackins was a quiet person who loved horses and her pets. She enjoyed reading, especially histories and biographies of our developing country. She also loved travel and considered herself privileged to see many beautiful places in the continental U.S. as well as Hawaii, Mexico, Canada and several European countries.
She was a charter member of Hooe Baptist Church near Oran, where she taught Sunday school and vacation Bible school many years.
She will be greatly missed by those she left behind, but we look forward to the happy reunion to come.
Family visitation will be from 4 to 5 p.m. and public visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran.
