HOUSTON, Texas - Lillian Marie Godwin, 85, died April 22, 2006, at Houston North West Medical Center in Houston.

Born May 21, 1920, in Bernie, Mo., daughter of the late Andrew Pearl and Evalee Young Hope, she was a former nurse for 20 years at Dexter, Mo., Memorial Hospital and affiliated with the Assembly of God Church in Houston.

On April 15, 1978, in Dexter, she was united in marriage to Willis Godwin who preceded her in death.

Three sisters, Edna Adams, Geneva Bowman and Audrey Nevasata also preceded her in death.

Survivors include: three sons, Ronald Miller of Belleville, Ill., Richard Miller of Hillsboro, Mo., and Lindell Miller of Houston; two daughters, LeeAndra Jordan of Houston and Sherrill Henneman of St. Peters, Mo.; one brother, Kenneth Hope of Dearborn, Mich.; one sister, Pauline Kingsley of Dearborn; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
