CAPE GIRARDEAU - Lee Frank "L.F." McClellon, 68, formerly of Sikeston, died at 11:30 a.m. July 17, 2005, at Southeast Hospital.
Born Aug. 19, 1936, in Sikeston, son of the late Lee Frank Sr. and Eloise McClellon, he lived in Chicago, Ill., for many years, returning to this year 25 years ago. He was a Golden Gloves boxer in southeast Missouri before going professional in Chicago.
In Chicago, he married Clemme Jean Blow who preceded him in death.
He later married Ethel Egson in Cape Girardeau. She survives of the home.
Survivors include: one son, Tony McClellon of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Terry McClellon of Cape Girardeau and Nuni McClellon of Chicago; three brothers, Willie E. McClellon of Clayton, Ky., John H. McClellon of Chicago and Larry G. McClellon of Sikeston; one sister, Jerline Butler of Pontiac, Mich.; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Preceding in death were two brothers, Elisha McClellon and Harce McClellon, and one sister, Mildred Thomas.
Arrangements are incomplete at the Sparks Funeral Home in Charleston.
