DEXTER -- Wilma Shell, 77, died April 25, 2005, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Born Dec. 4, 1927, at Bloomfield, daughter of the late Clarence Gray and Jessie Layton Gray, she was a member of the Dexter Church of Christ and a former secretary for the United States government working in the military records center at St. Louis.
On May 17, 1947, at Bloomfield, she married Eugene Shell who survives of the home in Dexter.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Rose Marie Templeton of St. Louis; one brother, Bill Gray of Fredericktown; and three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Two brothers, James Gray and Donald Gray; and two sisters, Norma Jean Little and Barbara Ann Gray, also preceded her in death.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter where services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. Don Bahr and Dale Grissom will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Hagy Cemetery.
