Born June 13, 1956, in Brushy Knob, daughter of the late Eugene and Letha Metcalf Elliott, she had been a resident of the Springfield area for many years. In 1995 she moved to Dexter where she was employed at Tyson Foods and was a member of the Lighthouse Christian Center.
On Feb. 2, 2001, at Dexter, she married Paul Woodard who survives of the home.
Survivors include: two daughters, Jennifer Calhoun of Houston and Tracy Rayburn of Wappapello; five brothers, Don Elliott of Mansfield, Kenneth Elliott of Norwood, Roy Elliott of Poplar Bluff, Dwight Elliott of Oakwood, Ga., and Richard Elliott of Ava; two sisters, Virginia Bell of Mount Grove and Juanita Harwell of Poplar Bluff; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter where services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday with John Ruddick of Bloomfield officiating.
Burial will be at a later date in the Evansdale Cemetery at Evans.
