POPLAR BLUFF -- Roger Dale McCollum, 53, died April 24, 2006, at his home.

Born April 28, 1952, son of the late Clifford Morlin and Cona Hobbs McCollum, he had worked as a truck driver for Consolidated Freight and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include: two sons, Jason L. McCollum of Puxico and Roger McCollum Jr. of Piggott, Ark.; three daughters, Lisa McCollum of Puxico, Louesa McCollum of Wappapello and Ashley McCollum of Piggott; three brothers, Neal Cornman, Timmy Cornman and Eugene Cornman of Campbell; six sisters, Freda Williams, Cheryl Winn, Connie Moffitt and Tanoca Thacker of Campbell, Imy Beck of Ward, Ark., and Kay Melendez of Poplar Bluff; and one grandchild, Dalton Andrews of Puxico.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Eddie McCollum, Mark McCollum and Michael McCollum, and two sisters, Ricki Payer and Robin Cornman.

He was cremated and no services will be held. Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home of Dexter is in charge of all arrangements.
