SIKESTON - Clera Estelle Beeson, 90, died at 10:30 p.m. Feb. 9, 2005, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
Born Oct. 28, 1914, in Loretta, Tenn., daughter of the late James Carl and Donie Cal Ezell Littrell, she was a charter member of Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church. She was a nurse aide for Missouri Delta Medical Center for 13 years before retiring.
On Sept. 26, 1936, in New Madrid, she married W.T. Beeson who preceded her in death on June 2, 1982.
Survivors include: two daughters and sons-in-law, Jacqueline and Phil Hubbert of Benton and Karen and Larry McBride of State Road, N.C.; three sisters, Lorene Thompson Martin and Rachel Thompson of Sikeston and Vela Nolan of Pensacola, Fla.; and 19 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were three sons, Bobby Beeson, Thomas Beeson and Thurman Beeson; three brothers, J.C. Littrell, Bill Littrell and Arthur Littrell; and one sister, Auvine Lynxwiler.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Ray Thurman, pastor of Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church, and the Rev. Cecil Adams of Sikeston will officiate.
Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
