RICHARDSON, Texas -- Terry B. Femmer, 57, died June 15, 2005, at Richardson Medical Center.
Born Feb. 21, 1948, in Cape Girardeau, Mo., son of Carlan Stone Femmer of New Madrid, Mo., and the late Bert Femmer, he was a civil engineer and was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving two tours of duty in the Vietnam War as a helicopter pilot. He was a member of the Vietnam Helicopter Pilots Association.
Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Leslie Femmer Welsh and Jeff Welsh of Wilsey, Kan.; two sisters, Carol and Steven Frank of Fairview, Texas, and Fredi and Carl Holyfield of Hermitage, Tenn.; and two grandchildren, Jackson Welsh and Javin Welsh of Wilsey.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid where services are scheduled at 10 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Jack Ketcher officiating.
Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in New Madrid.
