Your view: Information needed

There is place on the map between Kelly High School and Dielstadt called Austin Switch. In some references it is listed as historically significant. I am wondering why it is historically significant and also if you could find out who it was named for. My grandfather was the station master at Blodgett one time and I suspect he may have been involved.
