DEXTER - Delores Jean Gossett, 73, died Dec. 29, 2007, at her home.
Born Feb. 20, 1934, in Crow, W.Va., daughter of the late Otis and Clara Kirk Johnson, she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dexter, Order of the Eastern Star and Missouri Southern Healthcare Auxiliary.
On Jan. 1, 1954, in Dearborn, Mich., she married Jerry Gossett who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: four daughters, Judy K. McDonald of Crystal River, Fla., Teresa Larocque of High Ridge, Diane Mitchell of Summerville, S.C. and Barbara Judge of Dexter; one brother, Dillard Johnson of Crow; three sisters, Dana Richmond of Crow, Evelyn Lucas of Beaver, W.Va. and Marlyn Roberts of Hazel Park, Mich.; and six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Bobby Johnson; two sisters, Freda Hensley and Lorretta Fasemier; and two grandsons.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. today at the Rainey-
Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter with the Rev. Kevin Murray officiating.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Ark. with the Rev. Kevin Murray officiating.
