SEYMORE, Ind. - Norma Ellen Busby, 89, formerly of Lilbourn, Mo., died at 11:17 p.m. Dec. 29, 2007, at the Schneck Medical Center in Seymore.
Born Sept. 10, 1918, in Canalou to the late Leslie and Coela Greer Arbuckle, she was a homemaker and a member of the New Madrid Church of Christ.
On Oct. 14, 1949, in St. Louis, she married Daryl Gene Busby, who preceded her in death on Aug. 12, 1999.
One son, four brothers and three sisters also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Marcus and Ruth Busby of Seymore; four grandchildren, Shawn Busby, Shane Busby, Casey Busby and Courtney Gilbert of Seymore; and three great-granddaughters, Hannah Marie Busby, Madelyn Nichole Busby and Alisha Ann Busby.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. today at the Blanchard Funeral Chapel in Sikeston where services are scheduled at 10:30 a.m. Thursday. Ed Thomason, minister of the New Madrid Church of Christ, will officiate.
Burial will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Phil Newman, Johnny Arbuckle, Matt Gilbert, Shawn Busby, Shane Busby and Casey Busby.
