EAST PRAIRIE -- Rodney Chester Kemp, 49, died at 10:10 a.m. Feb. 25, 2007, at his home.
Born May 27, 1957, in St. Louis, son of Hester Morine Russom Kemp of East Prairie and the late Chester Inlo Kemp, Rodney had lived in East Prairie the past several years after moving from St. Louis where he was employed by Famous Barr in the warehouse.
Survivors include: one daughter, Linda Kemp of St. Louis; one brother, Timothy Kemp of East Prairie; two sisters, Phyllis McMahan of Bertrand and Vicky Burrow of East Prairie; and three grandchildren.
In addition to his father, one brother, Larry Thomas Ervin, preceded him in death.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. until time of a memorial service at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie. George White will officiate.
