Britton - Coleson

BELL CITY -- Tom and Carol Britton have announced the engagement of their daughter, Shannon Gayle Britton, to Carl Edward Coleson Jr., son of Carl and Lonnie Coleson of Mounds, Ill.

A 2004 graduate of Scott County Central High School, the future bride is employed at Jay's Krispy Fried Chicken in Sikeston and Scott Couny Central Schools.

The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Meridian High School and works for LDC in Urbandale, Ill.

Plans are being finalized for a June 24 wedding.
