SIKESTON -- Dorothy Marie Thomason, 84, died Aug. 11, 2005, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born Oct. 17, 1920, in Harrell, Ark., to the late I.L. and Irene Abernathy Williams, she had worked for the Accent Shop for 27 years before retiring and was a member of the Tanner Street Church of God.
On Dec. 26, 1936, in Harrell, she married Curtis Lee Thomason, who preceded her in death on Jan. 3, 1994.
Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Darlene and C.G. Scott of Sikeston; one brother, Lavern Williams of Sikeston; two sisters, Virginia Thomason of Malden and Imogene Russell of Creve Coeur; one granddaughter Darla Scott of Jackson; one grandson and his wife, Doug and Tina Scott of Sikeston; one great-granddaughter, Drew Ponder of Jackson; and two great-grandsons, Jerod Scott and Taylor Scott both of Sikeston.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. Saturday until time for services at 2 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. The Rev. Carl Addison and the Rev. Larry Smith, both of Tanner Street Church of God, will officiate.
Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Doug Scott, Jerod Scott, Kevin Leary, Brett Leary, Sean Leary, Drew Ponder and Mike Russell.
