FARMINGTON -- Velma Pattillo, 89, formerly of Dexter, died July 19, 2005, at Southbrook Skilled Nursing Center at Farmington.
Born Aug. 17, 1915, in Dunklin County, daughter of the late J.W. and Lena Moody Westmorlan, she was a homemaker. A member of the Sunnyview Church of Christ in Farmington and a former member of the Dexter Church of Christ, she had been residing in Farmington since 1991.
On Nov. 7, 1933, in Kennett, she married Thurlo Herbert Pattillo who preceded her in death on June 20, 1991.
Three brothers, Frank Westmorlan, Lee Westmorlan and Curt Westmorlan; and one sister, Gladys Benfield, also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: one daughter, Elaine Cole of Farmington; one sister, Aline Craig of Kennett; and two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 9:30 a.m. Friday until time for services at 11 a.m. at Rainey-
Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter with Dale Grissom officiating.
Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
