Born Nov. 20, 1933, at Parma, son of the late John Randolph and Nora Victoria Ogelvie Durham, he had been a welder in Illinois until his retirement. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
On June 30, 1988, at Bloomfield, he married Sande Jean Mills-Eby who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: three stepsons, Donald James Hansmann of Harlingen, Texas, Douglas James Hansmann of Marengo, Ill., and Dennis James Hansmann of Chicago; two brothers, William Fredick Durham Jr. of Murphysboro, Ill., and Larry Duane Durham of Taft, Calif.; two sisters, Jean Loretta Condours of Pekin, Ill., and Anis Nell Cox of Peoria, Ill.; and one grandchild.
Also preceded him in death were one stepdaughter, Sharon Jean Hansmann; and two sisters, Janice Dell Durham and Beverly Sue Durham.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie where services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday.
Burial will follow in the Bernie Cemetery with full military honors provided by the Missouri Funeral Honors Program.
