CHARLESTON - Pauline "Polly" Owens, 95, died at 3:35 p.m. April 14, 2005, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born March 8, 1910, in Blytheville, Ark., to the late Robert and Bertie Tidwell Qualls, she had lived in Mississippi County her entire life. A member of the First Baptist Church in Charleston, she was co-owner of the family farming operation.

On June 22, 1929, she married A.E. Owens who preceded her in death on May 15, 1981.

An infant son, a granddaughter, one sister and three brothers also preceded her in death.

Surviving are: three sons, William "Bill" Owens of Charleston, Edward Owens of Olive Branch, Ill., and Dallas Ray Owens of Mounds, Ill.; one daughter, Phyllis Bright of Laurel, Miss.; one sister, Evelyn Tolliday of Prescott, Ariz.; and 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-

grandchild.

Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the McMikle Funeral Home until time for services at 11 a.m. The Rev. Keith Huffman, interim pastor of the First Baptist Church in Charleston, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery.
