Sikeston physicians open Smith Street Medical Clinci

SIKESTON - Dr. Ken Stone and Dr. Bobby Jibben have opened Smith Street Medical Clinic, a rural health clinic.

"We are excited with the opening of our health clinic," said Stone. "It has been our goal to offer full health care for the entire family. "

Along with offering full family health care, the Smith Street Medical Clinic is open to everyone.

Joining the doctors at the clinic will be nurse practitioner Laurie Kaczmarek Jibben, RN, CS, MSN, FNP. Jibben received her undergraduate degree from Southeast Missouri State University in 1991 and her master's degree from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 1997.

"Laurie brings with her over 25 years of experience as a nurse and nine years as a nurse practitioner, most recently in the Poplar Bluff and Dexter area," said Jibben.

Stone described Jibben as a knowledgeable female provider for women's health.

The clinic, located at 177 Smith St., is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday (closed for lunch from noon to 1 p.m.) Walk-ins are welcome with Medicaid and Medicare accepted.
