Gregory Deuster

SIKESTON - Gregory James Deuster, 47, departed from this world while sleeping quietly on March 8, 2005.

Born Oct. 21, 1957, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Philip and Maggie Day Deuster of Sikeston, he lived in Sikeston for the past 37 years and was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by: one son, Kyle Deuster of Sikeston; one daughter, Bethany Deuster of Sikeston; four brothers, Philip Deuster Jr. of Sikeston, Brian Deuster of Cape Girardeau, and Mark Deuster and William Deuster of St. Louis; one granddaughter, MaKinsey E. Deuster; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until time for memorial services at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Msgr. Stephen Schneider, pastor of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, officiating.

Burial was March 9 at the Memorial Park Cemetery.
