CHARLESTON -- Hazel Marie Lochridge, 83, died at 4:45 a.m. Oct. 21, 2005, at her home.

Born Nov. 25, 1921, in Pemiscot County, daughter of the late Noel and Alice Merrick Pike, she had lived in Maryland and was employed in the prescription department of Drug Fair until her retirement in 1974. After retirement, she returned to Charleston where she was a member of the St. Henry Catholic Church.

On Aug. 8, 1942, she married William Franklin Lochridge who preceded her in death Jan. 19, 1997.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her stepmother, Rhoda Catherine Merrick Pike.

Survivors include: one son, Frank Lochridge of Charleston; two daughters, Sharon Loeser of Lenexa, Kan., and Linda Owen of Collierville, Tenn.; two brothers, Richard Pike of Charleston and John Pike of Kingsland, Texas; and seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two step-great-

grandchildren.

Visitation is from 5 until 8 p.m. Sunday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston where a prayer service will be held at 7 p.m.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at the St. Henry Catholic Church in Charleston with Monsignor Richard Rolwing, senior priest in residence of the St. Francis Xavier Church in Sikeston, serving as celebrant.

Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery near Charleston with committal rites assisted by the Rev. Bert Ott of Carthage.

Pallbearers will be: Brent Heppe, Jimmy Burton, Johnny Merrick, Rick Pike, Rex Davenport, Tim Pike, Chris Pike and Ken Stevenson.
