Distance dreams

It was a great season for sophomore cross country runner Sarah Ruff of Kelly High School. She won a medal in every race this year and took all-conference honors with a fourth place finish at Mineral Area College. She took 14th place at Jefferson Barracks to take all-district honors and qualified for state in Jefferson City. Ruff took all-state honors as a freshman last year with a 14th place finish in the state meet. Ruff finished in 81st place at this year's state meet. Ruff is the daughter of Doug and Sandy Ruff of Sikeston.
