Born May 15, 1932, at Bell City, to the late George and Maudie Mayberry Burkhart, she was formerly from Fredericktown where she was a licensed practical nurse and ran a small residential care center. She had lived the past 10 years in Bloomfield where she was a member of the Bloomfield Church of Christ.
On April 16, 1949, she married Albert Armes who preceded her in death on Nov. 12, 2004.
One brother, Kenneth Burkhart, and one grandson also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: three sons, Terry Armes of Bloomfield, Gary Armes of Bellvue, Colo., and Randy Armes of Marquand; and 12 grandchildren, nine great-
grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. Friday at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Ray Duffey officiating.
Burial will follow in the Walker Cemetery near Bloomfield.
