FLINT, Mich. - Willis P. "Billy Paul" Moore, 69, formerly of Parma, Mo., died March 7, 2006, at the Geneseys Regional Medical Center in Flint.
Born May 8, 1936, the son of the late Lonnie C. and Lena Streeter Moore, he had lived in Flint for many years. He had served in the United States Air Force and worked at General Motors V-8 Engine Plant, retiring after 30 years of service. He was a member of UAW 659, American Legion Post 225 and Fraternal Order of Eagles 51 Burton Chapter.
He was united in marriage to Sue Moore who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons and one daughter-in-law, Eric Moore of Arkansas and Scott and Carrie Moore of Cabot, Ark.; one stepson, Robert Wlodarczyk of Lapeer, Mich.; one stepdaughter, Dianna Garrett of Lapeer; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Curtis and Clara Mae Moore of Scott City, James and Nettie Fae Moore of Michigan City, Ind., and Joe and Yvonne Moore of Kissimee, Fla.; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Kathleen Reinbott of Parma and Norma Jean and Ron Bray of Arlington, Texas; nine grandchildren and one great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Carl Moore, Travis Moore and Gary Moore.
Services were conducted March 10 at the Swartz Funeral Home in Grand Blank.
Entombment with full military honors followed at the Crestwood Cemetery.
