ST. LOUIS - Edward Calvin Matthews IV has passed the Missouri State Bar exam and is a member of the Missouri State Bar Association. Currently he is employed by Guilfoil Petzall and Shoemake, LLC in St. Louis.

Matthews obtained an undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Arizona State University in Tempe, Ariz., in 1998. While at ASU, he was a scholar athlete on the Men's Golf Team which won four consecutive Pac 10 titles and won the NCAA National Champions in 1966.
A 2005 graduate of the University of Tulsa College of Law, he was elected dean of Delta Theta Phi legal fraternity, served as a Student Bar Association delegate and became a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association and the American Bar Association.
SIKESTON - Mark Smith has joined the staff at Morlan Dodge Inc., 1110 S. Main St.
Smith will be a master technician with Morlan's service department. He brings to his new job 17 years of experience as well as being an ASE certified master technician, certified Cummins specialist and an automatic transmission specialist.
A resident of Poplar Bluff, Smith and his wife, Kenya, have a 17-year-old daughter Keri.
JEFFERSON CITY - A local business owner will serve as an officer of the Missouri Pharmacy Association for 2006-07.
Sandra Bollinger, owner of Health Priorities Inc., a preventive health and disease management pharmacy in Sikeston, will serve as the group's treasurer. She is a resident of Benton.
