PUXICO - Joyce A. Gray, 59, died April 9, 2005, at her home near Puxico.
Born July 22, 1945, in Marston to the late James Robert and Sarah Melissa Ford Gray, she formerly resided in Marston until moving to Puxico 25 years ago. She was affiliated with the Baptist Church.
Survivors include: one son, Terry J. Townsend of Puxico; two daughters, Angela Proffer of Burfordville and Joyce Jenkins of Dexter; two brothers, Buck Gray of Fisk and D.W. Gray of Jefferson City; four sisters, Mary Gray and Betty Dodson of the state of Indiana, Margie Silman of Marston and Maggie Stocker of St. Louis; a special friend, Virgil Bell of Puxico; and four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico.
Graveside services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Puxico with Stephen Watkins officiating.
Burial will follow.
