KEVIL, Ky. -- Lonnie "Leo" Warford, 76, died at 1:15 p.m. Aug. 31, 2005, at his home in Kevil.
Son of the late Lonnie and Lela Joiner Warford, he was a member of Newton Creek Baptist Church, where he had been a Sunday school teacher and choir director. He was on the ASCS Committee for 18 years and a member of the Grahamville Lodge.
His wife, Cordie Anna Warford, survives of the home in Kevil.
Other survivors include: four daughters and three sons-in-law, Anna and Ronnie Catron of Galax, Va., Ardella Jeanette and Gary Hartlein of Sikeston, Mo., Amy Warford of Frankfort and Amanda and Eddie Steele of Kevil; one brother, Jewel Warford of Grahamville; one sister, Leoma Collier of Jackson, Mich.; and four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, six stepgrandchildren and seven great-stepgrandchildren.
Services were conducted Saturday at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter. The Rev. Rodney Cude and Jewel Warford officiated.
Burial followed in Newton Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
