BENTON -- Ricky E. Bone, 50, formerly of Mississippi County, died at 3:45 p.m. Nov. 20, 2007, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis following an extended illness.
Born April 3, 1957, in Cleveland, to the late Shirley E. Bone and Opal Bone Groves, he was a self-employed painter and of the Baptist belief.
In September 1999, he married Patricia Kay Housman who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: four daughters, Sherra Bone and April Bone of Sikeston, Brandi Housman of Benton and Carla Baker of Bertand; three sons, Richard Bone of Sikeston, Tyler Housman of the home and Dustin Housman of Benton; one stepdaughter, Bridgett Cross of East Prairie; four brothers, David Groves and Danny Joe Groves of Pueblo, Colo., Mark Bone of Middleburg, Fla., and William Groves of Sikeston; three sisters, Sharon Adkins and Candy Ann Hickman of Dayton, Tenn., and Nancy Ann Eldridge of Denver; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Joe Groves.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. The Rev. Winston Williford of Jackson will officiate.
